The number one issue on everyone’s minds in the nation and here in Missouri is the economy. And the reason is pretty easy to see. Rising prices and stagnant wages has pushed most of us into the predicament of spending more to survive than we have coming in. This multiples the problem for those who have to use credit cards with criminal interest rates. Wasn’t it just a couple of decades ago that we were putting mobsters in jail for loan sharking? Now it’s legal shake head. We have major corporations swooping in and buying up our farms and ranches and turning them into mega operations filled with greed and quick profits. Then they funnel that money out of the state of Missouri. This is lost work that could keep more locals employed and lost money that should remain in our state. We have foreign countries and entities, who are openly hostile to the United States moving in and buying up our land and mineral/oil rights, often with dark intentions locating close to our military, technology and infrastructure centers. Countries like China who is “well known” for stealing technology. We have problems on the right (hold up hand palm) and over here on the left (hold palm), we have the cause.
